Irondequoit Little League Refund Policy

Overview

Irondequoit Little League is committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for all participants. We understand that circumstances may arise that require a refund of registration fees. Below is our detailed refund policy to ensure clarity and fairness for all parties involved.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds for registration fees will be considered under the following conditions:

1. Withdrawal Prior to Season Start:

   • Full Refund: If a player withdraws from the league before the first official practice, a full refund will be issued.

   • Partial Refund: If a player withdraws after the first practice but before opening day or the first game (whichever comes first), a partial refund will be issued. The partial refund amount will be the registration fee minus a $20 administrative fee.

2. Withdrawal After Season Start:

   • No Refund: Once the season has started (i.e., after the first official game), no refunds will be issued. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for significant reasons such as medical conditions or family emergencies.

3. League Cancellations:

   • Full Refund: If the league cancels a division before it begins, all registrants will receive a full refund.

Refund Process

1. Request Submission:

   • All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected].

   • The request must include the player’s name, division, and reason for withdrawal.

2. Review and Approval:

   • The league’s administrative team will review all refund requests. Approval or denial of the refund request will be communicated within 7 days of submission.

   • Approved refunds will be processed and issued within 14 days of the approval date.
